This mudra is dedicated to Pushaan or sun, the God of warmth, energy and nourishment.
With the right hand, perform the Vaata – kaarak mudra and with the left hand, perform the Apaan mudra.
Pushaan mudra increases the space, the air, and the earth elements of the body.
Benefits of Pushaan Mudra:
- Increases energy and immunity
- Increases strength, stamina a and endurance
- Detoxifies the body by facilitating excretion of metabolic waste products through stools, urine and sweat.
For 30 to 45 minutes every day, either at one stretch or in three parts, of 10 to 15 minutes each.
