Pushaan Mudra

This mudra is dedicated to Pushaan or sun, the God of warmth, energy and nourishment.

Method :
With the right hand, perform the Vaata – kaarak mudra and with the left hand, perform the Apaan mudra.

Effects :
Pushaan mudra increases the space, the air, and the earth elements of the body.

Benefits of Pushaan Mudra:

  • Increases energy and immunity
  • Increases strength, stamina a and endurance
  • Detoxifies the body by facilitating excretion of metabolic waste products through stools, urine and sweat.

Duration :
For 30 to 45 minutes every day, either at one stretch or in three parts, of 10 to 15 minutes each.
